Atlantic once again caught a train up into the Catskills to the hamlet of Roxbury for another wonderful Labor Day weekend in the mountains. Atlantic played the Roxbury Nine in its first contest, and came away with a sparkling 14-4 victory. Dreambucket lead Atlantic with 2 doubles and a triple, and scored 3 aces. Toothpick, Flash, and Willy Mo each had 2 hits, and Tree kept the Roxbury bats rather quiet to pick up the win.
In the second contest, Atlantic faced the Bovina Dairymen and matched the earlier win with another 14-4 triumphant. TC had 4 hits, including 2 doubles, and scored 4 aces. Flash had 3 hits, and Hawk (double, 3 aces) and Dreambucket (4 aces) had 2 hits each. Hammy picked up the victory for Atlantic.
