Atlantic made its annual excursion to picturesque Poquatuck Park in Orient to face the Oyster Pond Eagles. In the first contest, Atlantic struck first, and struck mightily, with 6 runs in its first inning, then adding 7 more runs in the 4th inning to coast to an 18-6 victory. Toothpick led Atlantic with 4 hits, including a double, and scored 3 aces. TC, Dreambucket, and Wildhorse each had 2 hits for Atlantic. Tree picked up the victory.
In the second contest, Atlantic scored once in its first, but the Eagles answered right back, scoring 3 times in their first to take a lead they would hold until the 4th inning, when the Atlantic offense took over while its defense held the Eagles to only one more run. The result was a 16-4 triumph for the Atlantic. Wildhorse and Willy Mo led Atlantic with 2 hits apiece. Wildhorse successfully pitched his first game of the season for Atlantic, gaining the complete game victory.
