Atlantic met up with long-time friend the New York Gothams for a pair of matches in the Queens County. Two stingy defenses held the score close until Atlantic erupted for 6 runs in the 5th inning, then put the game away with another 6 runs in the 7th to take an 18-7 victory over Gotham in the first game. Willy Mo had 3 hits and 3 aces to lead Atlantic. Dreambucket and Shorty belted home runs as Pigtail went the distance to pick up the victory.
The second game started slowly and carefully, with no scoring until the bottom of the 3rd when Atlantic jumped in front with a 7-run inning, and then continued to score in every inning to take a 25-4 win. Tree tossed 8 straight whitewashes before Gotham finally reached him for 4 runs in the 9th. TC, with a home run and 3 aces, and Hawk, with a triple and 3 aces, led Atlantic with 4 hits each. Toothpick and Shorty contributed triples to the hitting attack.
