Larry "Milkman" Caputo
Larry 'The Milkman' Caputo began his vintage career in the meadows at Old Bethpage Village Restoration in the summer of 2018. At first playing centerfield and catcher he now regularly mans the leftside of the infield.
His favorite experiences have been playing in the Brooklyn Cyclones stadium in Coney Island and his time at the Ommegang Brewery Base Ball Festival in Cooperstown. "The atmosphere and crowd that we had that weekend was like no other!"
His favorite memory is the tribute to the late captain Paul Salomone of the Elizabeth Resolutes. "It really showed me how strong the vintage community was and I really enjoyed everyone sharing their memories from all the teams. How one man could affect so many people's lives on and off the field: in baseball and in life."
When the Milkman isn't playing bare hand base ball he is the Manager of Studio Operations at Madison Square Garden Networks.
