"Average" Joe Jaffe

"Average" Joe Jaffe first played vintage base ball on Memorial Day weekend in 2019. He played as a guest for the New York Mutuals in an exhibition match at Prospect Park in Brooklyn.

He primarily plays Second or Third base for the Atlantics but has been known to graze in the outfield on occasion.

Average Joe's favorite memory is his first road trip to Gettysburg. "I had never seen anything like it and had been consuming baseball history since I was a boy. It was 110 degrees in the shade, everything on my body hurt after the first game and I didn't care. I loved the entire exerience, the sportsmanship of the other teams, the camaradereir of the Atlantics and the overall scenery; it really is quite a remarkable experience that I was happy to do again in '21.

When not wearing an Atlantic uniform Average Joe is the COO of one of the oldest advertising agencies in the world.
