Billy "Goat" Kowalczyk

Billy 'Goat' Kowalczyk was invited to play in a game with the Atlantics in the summer of 2007  by 'Shakespeare,' the captain of their softball team. After approximately 5 swings it became apparent that he was one of the most powerful hitters that any Atlantic had ever seen. Aside from him obvious strength, he also possesses quick feet and sure hands that make him a defensive asset in both the infield and outfield. Aside from softball and his experience with the Atlantics, he also played in high school and summer hardball leagues.

Good-natured competition is what attracted 'Goat' to vintage base ball, but it's his fun-loving attitude that makes him the consumate teammate. Playing in the 2008 Keator Cup in Roxbury on his first overnight trip and his first overhand game against the Grays in Providence are two of 'Goat's' favorite ABBC moments. When not playing base ball, he works as a lumberjack alongside 'Butcher.'
